"Helpful saddle fit advice when I was feeling overwhelmed"
I was mentally drained trying to figure out what size saddle to get and really didn’t want to mess up and order the wrong one. South Texas Tack was super helpful and gave me straight answers instead of making it more confusing. They actually talked through my horse’s shape with me, not just the seat size.
The saddle fits so much better than my old one, and my mare seems more comfortable too. It was a relief dealing with people who clearly know tack and don’t make you feel silly for asking a bunch of questions.

"They had the saddle gear I needed"
I kind of figured this place would come through, and sure enough, they had the saddle stuff I needed when a couple other shops were totally out. It was a easy stop overall, found what I came for, and it just confirmed what I already thought about them. No complaints from me.

"Really nice quality overall"
I’ve been using it for a little while now and I’m happy with it. The leather feels sturdy and well made, not cheap or flimsy at all. So far I haven’t had any issues, and it seems like it’ll hold up well.

"Bit of a hassle, but they fixed it tbh"
My order got mixed up, and I had to email them twice, which was annoying ngl. They did eventually reply and sent out a replacement, so it got sorted in the end. Not the smoothest experience ever, but it turned out okay

My order did eventually show up, but the shipping experience was hit or miss. The tracking barely updated, so I wasn’t really sure where the package was, and it arrived a few days later than I expected. Everything was fine once it got here, which I appreciated, but I really wish the delivery process felt more reliable. It’s just disappointing when you’re excited for something and end up feeling unsure the whole time

"Nice mix of familiar and harder-to-find brands"
I like shopping here because they have a good mix of brands I already trust, plus a few I don’t usually see on every other site. It’s convenient being able to compare things in one place instead of opening a bunch of tabs and bouncing around. Even little details, like seeing similar styles side by side, make it easier to decide.

"Knowledgeable staff, but I felt rushed"
The staff definitely knew their tack and were helpful, which I appreciated. That said, the advice felt a bit rushed and I left feeling like I didn’t get the time or attention I was hoping for. I’m not trying to make a big deal out of it, but an apology or some acknowledgment would be appreciated...

My order from southtexastack.com arrived in great shape, which was a relief because I’m tired of having to deal with customer service over damaged stuff. The box was sturdy, everything inside was wrapped up well, and nothing was dented or rattling around. Nice to get an order that just shows up the way it should

"Customer service was okay in the end"
Customer service wasn’t amazing because they took a while to get back to me, and I was getting a bit annoyed waiting around, but once they finally replied they were helpful enough and walked me through what I needed to do, so in the end the issue got fixed.

"Good prices and an easy ordering process"
I ordered from South Texas Tack and had a really good experience. They had the same tack I was looking at on other sites, but for a better price, and the quality felt solid when it arrived. The whole ordering process was simple and easy to get through, and shipping seemed fair too. I’d definitely buy from them again.
